The natural beauty of the California landscape are the basis for many of my paintings. My canvases usually start with an idea from one of my photographs and after several layers of paint, may evolve into something entirely different.

Having grown up near the California coast, water and beach scenes have always inspired my art. Lake Tahoe is also a favorite place of mine, and an inspiration for many of my mountain and lake paintings.
